Lexi Hood- Crochet artist

Hi, my name is Lexi and I’m the creator behind NerdyTortoises. I am a full time fibre artist specialising in crochet, particularly amigurumi figures. I make a mixture of original pieces and those using patterns from other artists. I have been crocheting since 2014 and I am continuously working on improving my skill and technique. 

I love creating unique and wonderful creatures. Being autistic, I see the world in a different way to most people and I love putting that in my work. If you would like me to make you a one of a kind piece, then you can always contact me to make a commission. 

​I sell my products both at fairs and online. I love connecting with people both online and in person. There’s nothing better than sharing a love for all things handmade with others.

 
All of my products are handmade by myself using 100% acrylic yarn (meaning my products are vegan).
