Free amigurumi ghost pattern

Two ghost plushies. The left ghost is smaller and has a keyring attached. The right ghost is bigger and made of chenille yarn.

It's officially Halloween month and what better way to celebrate than crocheting your own little amigurumi ghost? This pattern is advanced beginner friendly. It uses mostly simple stitches with a few new techniques to get the detailing.

Feel free to sell what you make from this pattern (though please don't mass produce in a factory). Stitches (US terminology):

Sc - Single Crochet

Hdc - Half Double Crochet

Dc - Double Crochet

Bo - Bobble

invdec - Invisible decrease

FLO - Front loop only

BLO - Back loop only

Help with stitches:

Bobble: Yarn over, put hook through the loop, yarn over, pull out, yarn over and pull through two loops on your hook. Repeat this process until you have six loops on your hook. Yarn over once more and pull through all six loops on your hook. Make sure to make the next Sc fairly tight to keep the bobbles shape. Shape the bobble with your fingers once you have completed the next Sc. More detailed instructions can be found HERE.

Invisible decrease: This is worked as a normal decrease except, instead of going through both loops of the stitch, you go through the front loops only. Step by step tutorial HERE.
